Shopping in Hong Kong during Christmas & Winter Fest was wonderful as many best deals, great offers, free gifts, free wrapping services etc. were offered. Our travel log to Hong Kong in December 2011 this time mostly visited malls and shopping streets. We try to list out items and places that we bought and visited for our momento and just in case traveller like us may find it useful to search for the same products if you plan to visit Hong Kong.

3.00pm - We took Malaysia Airline flight and landed Hong Kong International Airport at around 3.00pm. On arrival hall, we straight away bought Octopus card which we found it very very useful to travel and shop in Hong Kong. It cost us HK$150 per card (credit HK$100 & refundable deposit of HK$50). Then we headed to a taxi terminal on the lower ground to catch a taxi to IRegal Club Hotel in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island where we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights.

4.30pm- Took urban taxi red in colour and headed to HK island. Checked in at IRegal Club Hotel, Johnston Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island
6.30pm - Took a tram in front of IRegal Hotel : From Johnston Road (O'Brien Road) tram station headed to Causeway Bay Yee Wo Street (Penningston Street). We went to one accessories store opposite Sasa Causeway Bay, adjacent to Causeway Bay Plaza 2 Mall. Items bought - Ear rings. Then headed to Windsor House, Level 11. Bought wireless headphone set and Swarovski earphone .

10.30am -Headed to Pacific Place Shopping Mall & Queensway Mall via tram. Bought accessories from Carat & Pandora. Discounts up to 70% for selected items for Christmas Sale.
1.30pm - After a light lunch at Pacific Place, we headed to IFC Mall in Central Hong Kong via tram. Bought more accessories, perfume and Garreth popcorn...

10.30am - Took a tram to Wan Chai Computer Centre which was located above the ground of Wan Chai MTR. Bought some electrical appliance and mini speaker.
11.30am - Check out IRegal Hotel, left our luggage and headed to Causeway Bay via tram.

10.00am - Harbour City Ocean Terminal - took some photos and bought some breads somewhere inside Ocean Terminal. Visited Chopard boutique.
11.00am - Went to CKE Mall, Nathan Road, bought some clothes and handbags.Great bargain and discount offered during Christmas.

12.30pm - Check out from Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel, TST and headed to HK Int Airport.
1.30pm - Arrived HKIA, Zone 2, Malaysia Airlines, Isle D, Gate 510. Before boarding, quick stop at Fauchon Paris outlet which located near Gate 40. It was long queue at the Immigration and managed to board flight 15 minutes before departure time.
